Mr. Wilson is honored to regularly be called upon to defend allegations of professional misconduct leveled against attorneys licensed in Texas. A bar complaint is a very serious matter that if not handled properly can result in the loss of your license to practice law. If you have received a complaint we encourage you to immediately seek representation. This is a situation where there simply is no substitute for experience. No shortcut will do. You must vigorously protect your license to practice law.

Attorneys that attempt to save money by defending themselves often miss many of the pitfalls associated with a professional defense of their license. It is difficult, if not impossible, to be the advocate and the respondent in a Grievance proceeding. Mr. Wilson previously served on the Grievance Committee and serves as an adjunct professor teaching Professional Ethics to LLM students at SMU law school.
